Recently, Cylon Group successfully won the bid for the supporting busway project for photovoltaic (PV) modules at the Jiuquan New Energy Zero-Carbon Industry Demonstration Base.

This PV cell module and new material comprehensive industrial base project, awarded to Cylon Electric Industry Group, is located in the Jiuquan New Energy Comprehensive Utilization Industrial Park. The first phase of the project involves an investment of approximately 3 billion RMB, covering an area of 153.63 mu, to build a 6GW smart PV module base equipped with five intelligent PV module production lines. The second phase involves an investment of about 4 billion RMB, covering approximately 400 mu, to construct a 5GW high-efficiency PV cell base.

Currently, the first-phase factory buildings have been constructed and are undergoing interior decoration, while the procurement of production and power equipment has been completed and custom manufacturing is underway. The living and office areas are scheduled for construction in the second half of this year. Land procedures for the 5GW cell production base are currently being processed, with construction planned to begin in the first half of next year. Once the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected to achieve an annual output value of over 3 billion RMB and tax revenues exceeding 50 million RMB.
