A compact busway (often referred to as a sandwich-type bus duct) is an advanced power distribution system used to safely and efficiently transmit high-amperage electrical power. It replaces bulky traditional cables with tightly compressed, individually insulated copper or aluminum conductors fully enclosed in a protective metal housing.
